At act‘ble GmbH, I was responsible for the development and design of a novel pointe shoe for classical ballet; From prototyping and testing to the production in Germany and Istanbul, through to marketing and packaging.

The start-up act‘ble is reinventing the classic pointe shoes for ballet. Unlike traditional shoes that are made from glue, cardboard and canvas, act‘ble addresses the pain and injuries associated with traditional pointe shoes. Modular act‘pointes consists of three components made with high-performance materials and modern manufacturing techniques: a 3D printed sole that provides stability and flexibility simultaneously, three laces for adjustable support and a knitted upper with different zones.
