This project is centered around forecasting techniques, finding weak signals,
and the creation of diegetic prototypes. Brenda Offe and I explored the Planthropocene,
how its rise could impact agricultural practices and alter humans in their lifestyle and appearance.
„It‘s 2090, and plants have decolonised themselves from the Anthropocene. In this new era,
photosynthetic organisms are at the center of societies, daily practices, and political decisions.
The Planthropocene necessitates a fundamental rethinking of landscapes and agricultural practices.
This means that human food security will depend entirely on the emotional and physical state of Earth‘s fauna.
Humans would serve as the main caretakers and follow the plants calls on how to keep their ecosystems in balance.
The change of human non-human relations would essentially influence the human in its behaviour and appearance.“
